Buloke Woodlands Wander
10 am - 11:30 am, Meet at 45 Market Street, Minyip
Guided by Rae Talbot, learn about the precious ecology of endangered Buloke Woodlands and meet some of the special species that call this place home.
Weed Priorities Session
11:30 am - 1:30 pm, meet at Minyip Caravan Park
This session will work us through a weed prioritization activity underpinned by local values and on-ground knowledge. The final product will be a locally focused weed action plan that will help Minyip Landcare Group demonstrate to stakeholders and funders that it has done the necessary planning to underpin further on-ground action.
The weeds identified in the activity will also inform further engagement activities to inform the community about identification and control of these species.
This project is part of our Partnerships against Pests project with Project Platypus and Horsham District Landcare Network. It is funded by Agriculture Victoria’s Partnerships against Pests program.
