Warracknabeal Show 2023

Yarrilinks went to the Warracknabeal Show on the 12th of October this year with some activities for kids. The weather was pretty wild and windy but luckily we were sheltered inside the Jack McKenzie Pavillion. After a few years of cancellations due to Covid and last year’s October floods, the community was thrilled to be back out at the show!

Alicia enjoyed chatting to passersby and handed out copies of our newsletter and some identification booklets about Wimmera birds and wetland frogs.

Kid activities included colouring pages and some nature treasures to investigate with magnifying glasses!

We also held a draw for those signing up for our newsletter to win some native plants for their gardens. This was won by Karen from Horsham - We will be sourcing her plants shortly!
